The artwork reflects McCay's style which used vivid colors, elegant lines...and "eccentric" dialogue that pointed to the artist's deadpan wit.
The interactive doodle features five panels of comic art, tracing Little Nemo's adventures in Slumberland, featuring the Walking Bed, and the Princess, one of his playmates. As usual, when he gets dropped into the ocean, he wakes up in his bed. (McCay's uses danger as a device to wake up Nemo from his dreams.)
